The Hi-way Drive-in is a true classic outdoor cinema .. little has changed here since the 1950's heyday of the American Drive-in theatre, although audio is now broadcast to your radio. |
There are currently two outdoor screens at the Drive-in
(with a 3rd screen soon to be added), providing a greater
variety of movies. Choose the screen with the movies that
you are most-interested in before entering the Drive-in;
we ask that you not switch between screens once inside.
There are two different movies shown on each screen, and
a different FM radio channel for tuning-in the movie audio:
SCREEN ONE: 98.9 FM
SCREEN TWO: 99.9 FM
One of the things that people have always enjoyed about
going to a Drive-in movie is the overall casualness of the
Drive-in experience. Many adults in fact may remember
visiting a Drive-in when they were kids, in their pajamas.
Preserving this casual spirit, we hope that common sense
will eliminate the necessity for having a lot of rules and
regulations. Basically: please be considerate so that you
aren't ruining the Drive-in experience for others; please
remember to drive slowly, and dim your headlights after
going through the ticket booth. Oversized vehicles should
park in the back rows, so as to avoid blocking the view of
smaller vehicles. And, please consider that by purchasing
food and drinks from our snackbar, you're also helping to
support one of the last venues for cinema under the stars.
ADMISSION: $6 (ages 12&up) Children/ages 5-11: $2
